Pastor Johnnetta Johnson - Lead Pastor

Rev. Johnnetta Johnson, M. Div., affectionately known as Pastor PJ, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, married to Rodney and together they have four children. PJ graduated with a BA from St. Leo University and received her Master of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary.
I am grateful to serve in the heart of Hapeville as the Lead Pastor of Hapeville First UMC. My passion in ministry is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, preach an authentic word, provide leadership with excellence, administer the sacraments, implement strategies to help individuals/families/communities to explore their faith, develop inclusive curriculums, and create an atmosphere where all are welcome.
In my leisure, I enjoy motivating others, technology, traveling, mission projects, novels, biking, spiritual meditation, outdoor games, attending theaters, and spending quality time with family and friends. I believe that it is important to witness and share your faith journey regardless of where it has taken you; because it might cause someone else to turn around and seek the will of God. I am excited to be appointed to Hapeville First UMC as we work together
